I was 16 so that was around 1984 a long time ago but i remember the haircut , My Uncle Warren had just bought a pair of Clippers and had given his 2 boys haircuts with his new toy. Well you next day me and my Dad were over visiting and before long Uncle Warren asks my Dad if it was about time for me to be getting a haircut since i was looking a little shaggy , I really didn't have that long of hair (a grown-out taper cut) I remember hearing my Dad saying yes i was overdue for a trim. Well Uncle Warren leaves the room and comes back with his clippers and tell Dad he just cut his son's hair yesterday and he did a really good job at it and he'd be happy to trim my hair up and save Dad a few bucks. Well the next thing i know i'm in the kitchen on a stool with a towel around me and Dad and Uncle Warren telling me that it'll look just like i walked out of a real Barber Shop. 

Now my cousin's weren't home so i had no ideal what there haircuts looked like but there was no way out of this so i just set there "And said i'm sure you'll do a good job", But i knew i was in trouble the clippers just had the reg. attch. on and Uncle Warren puts the clippers at the back of my neck and started mowing right up the back of my head again and again , then the sides well at this point him and Dad are talking about what to do next (i just set there) Dad tells him "Just do it like you did your boys" And with that the clippers go right down the middle of my head and after i'm done i would guess i had just gotten my first 1/4 inch buzzcut , Dad and Uncle Warren looked very pleased and ask if it's o.k , I told them it was fine and thanked my Uncle. I really didn't like it but i didn't hate it either , I did end up getting 3 more haircut from my Uncle that year and each one i like a little better then the last. That's my story nothing great but it's a haircut i haven't forgotten.
