Bar Barber

Mike had been a barber for the past five years. When he decided to open his own shop he found the rent to much.

Then his friend Mark who owned a bar offered him some space in his bar. Mike took up the offering figuring it was a unique way to give haircuts. His business took with hair flying. He was amazed at the number of patrons who were eager to get haircuts. Especially after a few drinks at the bar.

On any given night he found himself buzzing head after head and even indulging in giving headshaves to those who were willing. Mike set his rates well below the norm barbers usually charged since he could make enough in six nights to earn a decent wage.

He was amazed at the number of guys who were willing to sacrifice their hair after a game of pool and a few rounds of beer. He gained quite a reputation on the beach scene as the BAR BARBER. People began coming in not to just get haircuts especially headshaves. But also to observe the haircutting. Within a year Mark had to expand on account of the business Mike was drawing.

Saturday nights became a haircut/head shaving challenge. Anyone who was willing to take the challenge could get a if they lost in a round of pool or darts. At times it was almost as if guys would deliberlately loose just to get their heads shaved. A patron would come in with a full head of hair and end up shaved bald. Even Mark and his male bartenders adopted the bald look and Mike kept his shaved as well.Mark changed the name of his bar to BALDIES and found it increased his business five fold. Business boomed and both Mike and Mark were thrilled. The hair would come off every Saturday.

Guys were lining up to have a few beers or whatever and sacrifice their long hair.The floor would be covered with a pile of hair very Saturday night. And many of those who had been shaved by Mike as well as others who were bald by choice would have their heads shaved by Mike on a regular basis.Almost every guy who came into BALDIES at one point would get a haircut. But not a head shave, for there were those who would not be willing to get their heads shaved.Although, Mike's reputation for giving great headshaves made him most popular.
