What a change

Jeff returned home after a four year hitch in the Navy. His best friend Chris had not seen him in all that time. Chris had gone on to college and was working for an advertising firm. When Jeff contacted him he was eager to see him after all the years. Chris wondered how much Jeff changed. As he remembered him he was tall and lanky with an overgrown mop of red hair. As for Chris he had put on some muscle and still had his blonde curly hair. Jeff and Chris decided to meet at their favorite hangout back in school-The Dugout. It had not changed much over the years and was a favorite spot for the teens and college students. As Chris sat in a booth waiting for Jeff to show up another friend Rick came in. Chris had not seen Rick in two years.He had changed his hair was clipped short and showing signs of thinning. He was surprised to see Chris stil with the same style. And sat down to wait for Jeff as well. Neither saw Jeff come in as they were talking. And even when he came upto the booth neither recognized him at first. But then they did and were shocked. For Jeff was not just taller and much more muscular but gone was his curly red hair. Instead,he had nothing more than a fringe of red hair. Rick was as much surprised as Chris. The three each ordered a sandwich and drink and went over old times. Rick and Chris were taken back when Jeff brought up a wager made between the three of them after high school.Chris and Rick had forgotten all about it. At the time the three were joking about who would end up bald first Chris,Rick or Jeff. Rick had said "I probably will lose mine before either of you." The three pledged whomever went bald first would get his head shaved with the other two. What a shock to realize it was Jeff who was no sporting a full blown case of MPB. And he was intent on making the wager good. The three decided to have a few beers to build up their nerves. Than it was off to a barbershop where Jeff anounced " shave me bald and my two friends will be having the same." at first Chris and Rick thought Jeff was kidding. But soon realized he was dead serious as the barber removed his fringe lahered and shaved him smooth. Rick followed suit since he was already showing signs of going bald anyway. And admitted he had been considering it. Soon his auburn locks were gone and his head gleamed as did Jeff's. For Christhe choice was not so easy he still had a good head of hair and was not looking forward to seeing himself bald. But with the two of them egging him on Chris relented. Afterall, it would grow back and even his fiancee Linda would just have take him bald for awhile. Afterall, it wasall in fun. As Chris took to the chair the other two chuckled as the thick blonde hair was quickly buzzed from Chris's head. As the barber lathered him up, Chris was liking the change. When he saw himself bald he admitted he liked it.Infact, all three looked great with their bald heads. They paid and left. As they went out the door Linda passed by and then realized that Chris had now A BALD HEAD.She was in awe and told him "That is fantastic Chris can I rub it?" She did and Chris discovered being bald by choice might just be fun for awhile.As time went on both Rick and Chris retained the shaven heads and Jeff kept what he had left shaved off as well.Three bald buddies. _
