El Ingreso a la colimba by PELUQUERO Excelente historia. El ingreso en el servicio militar que se narra aquí era muy similar al que yo sufrí en mis propias carnes. Te despojaban de la ropa de civil para que no tuvieras la tentación de vestirla cuando salías de paseo; te la requisaban por una semana. Según comentaron fuentes bien informadas del cuartel se hacía para que los reclutas rapados al cero y medio (2 milímetros de largura) no llamasen demasiado la atención luciendo sus cráneos esféricos. La diferencia entre los reclutas de mi promoción y los de este relato es que con nosotros no usaron para nada la tijera, con la maquinilla Thrive 808 nos esquilaron toda la cabeza, metiéndonosla por la frente. Tal vez Martín Sosa fue esquilado con la maquinilla manual del cero y para evitar tirones innecesarios se le reducía el cabello con la tijera hasta dejarlo muy corto. Finally Did It! by Matt Just saw this in the random stories. Guys who have the desire to get their heads shaved never lose the desire. I always knew that once I started going short, it would only be a matter of time until I kept my head shaved completely bald. Back in 99 when I went permanent head shaved, it was still rare and at first I felt self conscious. I had shaved my head a few times before but for various reasons ended up growing some back. Once I decided I would stay shaved bald indefinitely (with a nice nudge from MPB), I never worried again about being the baldy in the crowd.
Getting your head shaved is very intoxicating! Even after 26 years with very little left to shave, I still look forward to scraping my head clean. by Pauldy on 21 Oct 2025

BaldForever. by MarcustheBald16 Just ran across this story and couldn’t agree more! Nothing feels better than having your head shaved completely bald. When I first started keeping it shaved, I was very self conscious but fortunately I got lots of compliments on it. The way it looks, the way it feels, I knew I had made the right decision. I usually shave my head every day. If I go more than two or three days, I feel like a long hair (even though most of my hair is MPB gone fortunately). I see guys clinging to the small remains of hair they have and want to go tell them time to give the hair up. My only regret is not going for the full head shave earlier in life than I did (I was 34 when I adopted the shaved head as my permanent no-hairstyle). Big changes by Layton leib What I thought started out as a story I wouldn’t enjoy, it ended that I thoroughly enjoyed it! I was shocked he so easily went for the horseshoe and quickly thereafter to a shaved head. Wish I had made that transition so quickly. The leap from shoe to bald took me a few attempts. Fortunately father nature got involved and took the decision away from me. Best thing I ever did for my self esteem and courage was to shave my head. After my three previous attempts, I knew I would be keeping my head shaved indefinitely. Now I wish I had skipped the shoe and gone full on baldy earlier on.
As much as this character enjoyed getting shaved and staying bald, I hope he realises how much he misses the smooth skin all over his head and adopts the shaved head indefinitely. Hopefully he meets someone who enjoys his bald head and loves to touch and kiss it! by Pauldy on 16 Oct 2025

Prisión de Alta Seguridad. Ingreso by BARBERO MILITAR En este capítulo se nos describe de forma detallada las normas disciplinarias que regían en esta institución penitenciaria. El lector se mete en situación y tiende a solidarizarse, de manera espontánea, con el protagonista de la historia. Ya le queda claro al tal Santiago Morales de que no va a poder llevar el pelo a su gusto. Por muchas protestas que haya habido contra el corte de pelo al cero, los directivos de la cárcel son los que controlan la situación y saben imponer su voluntad. Esta historia me recuerda a las tradicionales películas carcelarias americanas que constituyen un género cinematográfico. Although I’m not into female barbers (or females in general), I will say some of the best haircuts (head shaves) have come from female barbers. The last time I got a completely smooth head shave , in a barbershop, was from a female barber. As I’ve moved to a different area, I haven’t found any barbershops that I trust or want to pay to shave my head, so I keep it cueball smooth on my own.
Sounds like this woman gave him the push he needed. Back when I still had hair to cut (other than a bald shave), if a barber made comments about it being so short, in a negative way, then I was on to try another barbershop the next time. by Pauldy on 10 Oct 2025

La barbería de Clemente 13 by BARBERO MILITAR Máxima tensión la que se respira al leer este relato. En 1974 todavía quedaban padres como don Pascual, dispuestos a someter a la fuerza a los muchachos díscolos. Imaginemos por un momento la humillación brutal que supuso para este chico recibir una azotaina en público, delante de los otros clientes de la barbería. El viejo Clemente, el inclemente, se regodeaba con ello, estaba en su salsa; lo de mostrarle la soga y amenazar al chico con atarle al sillón es de un sadismo inimaginable. Lo peor de todo es que le van a cortar el pelo "al cero", con una maquinilla manual que deja una largura máxima de 1 mm; no hay apenas diferencia entre eso y estar calvo. Según leía el relato se me ponía un nudo en la garganta y me he imaginado que yo estaba presente en aquel rancio local mientras sucedía todo esto.
